Klaus actually dies multiple times in season 3, but thanks to his newly developed powers of resurrection, he's able to bring himself back from the dead. After befriending his father in the Sparrow timeline, Sir Reginald helps Klaus develop his powers and Klaus eventually becomes immortal.

Klaus also kills himself later on in the season when jumping up and impaling himself with a buffalo horn before the kugel wave can take him out. In the end of The Umbrella Academy season 3, Klaus is very much alive. The whole world is reset and, unfortunately, everyone loses their powers.

Klaus subsequently discovered that he was effectively immortal, resurrecting himself every time that he died. While in the beginning it took around 22 minutes for him to come back from the afterlife. After training with his father, Klaus could now revive himself almost instantly.

Except for Klaus, who Reginald concludes has outlived his usefulness. Instead, Reginald shoves Klaus back into the White Buffalo Suite, where he gets impaled on one of the stuffed head's horns and dies.

Luther & Sloane Hargreeves

Luther, a.k.a. Number One, dies at the end of The Umbrella Academy season 3, episode 9, "Seven Bells." He is resurrected at the end of episode 10, "Oblivion" in the universe reset.

Klaus is still alive. Bonnie did a spell that has him living in Tyler's body. It's unclear what this means for Tyler, but I assume he's still alive somehow too because Bonnie wouldn't knowingly kill him. Bonnie said she saved Klaus to save her friends and her mom.

Klaus sacrificed himself by absorbing the Hollow to protect his family from the power that would amplify his dark impulses. Elijah chose to die alongside Klaus, fulfilling his sole purpose of achieving his brother's redemption and honoring their vow of "always and forever."

This portal would have taken them into the Hotel Oblivion to reset the fractured timeline, but Reg thought Klaus would have been a liability. As such, he left him to die as the Kugelblitz devoured reality. Klaus, though, improvized quickly and jumped onto the buffalo's horns in the suite, killing himself.

In The Umbrella Academy season 2, Klaus died and met up with Reginald in the afterlife. However, he was swiftly returned to the world of the living, but not before he met up with a girl riding a bicycle with a basket full of flowers.

Season 4 will be the final season of the show.

Later on in the season, we find out that this is the other-dimensional Hotel Oblivion, and that the creature that chopped off two of Diego's fingers is one of the dreadful Guardians.

The season ends with Hargreeves alive in this universe despite Alison killing him previously. Now he is in control of the city and maybe the world. He is overlooking the city in a giant tower alongside a woman: Abigail Hargreeves.

Alphonso and Jayme aren't given much screen time or development throughout the season, in part because they die at the end of episode three when they show up alongside the rest of the Sparrows to attack the Umbrellas at Hotel Obsidian.

Ben was dead before the story starts, and The Umbrella Academy season 2 funeral flashback revealed he died in 2006 at the age of 17. Sir Reginald's eulogy confirmed the tragedy happened on a mission gone awry, and the inscription on Ben's statue prompted theories he took his own life.

Midway through Season 3, Five watches his future self die after Lila ejects him from an iron lung (a death which could have been prevented if they just slid the guy back in there, but that's a rant for another time). Significantly, the older Five dies with an amputated arm and a mysterious tattoo on his chest.

(To be fair, there's not much to mourn: The show barely even pretends that Klaus and Luther are dead, with a brief trip to Klaus's afterlife that ends with both men being conjured back into the world to help save the day.)

Bonnie transferred Klaus consciousness into Tyler at the end of season 3 in the same way he was able to exist in Ric's body in season 2. This prevented him from dying when Ric shoved a stake in him.

Luther finally has the motivation and courage to confront his father about all the horrible things he did to him and his siblings. But Klaus momentarily dies just as he expresses his love to Sloane.
